LOGOS & ARTWORK
IS MY LOGO GOOD FOR USE?
At Risch, we have a simple way of checking and proofing logos to see if they are good for use, vector files or not! While we prefer to take vector files (.ai,.eps,.svg), we can still work with other types of files. However, these files (.jpg, .png, .tiff, .psd or .pdf) must be high resolution (300 dpi). In our process, our experienced designers review the work and see if it is good for use. The programs we use help us modify the logo file and easily convert it into vector format. Unfortunately, if we cannot easily change the file, due to certain issues like low resolution or the image being too small, you will be subject to a 1 hour rework charge. Once we get the order for the rework fee, we will convert your logo into a vector file!
When you’re ready, you can send your logo to us. Our team can help you with any issues or questions you have!
WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE MY OWN LOGO?
We have a couple free options if you don’t have a logo and are in need of one.
TYPESETTING
If you are looking to have your restaurant name or other text on your menu cover, the Risch art & design team offers a typesetting service. Typesetting is taking your specific text and setting it in a font, for placement on a menu cover. Typeset text can be used on any menu cover. For typesetting, fill out our Typeset order form and choose from our list of stock type or have us match a font (matching specific font requires service charge). Typeset from stock font options are free with up to two stock font choices. Additional typesetting will be subject to service fees.
COMPLIMENTARY DIE STAMP LOGOS
Looking for a simple stamp on your brand new Risch covers? Don’t quite have custom digital art you want printed? We have you covered with our complimentary type logos. Risch offers stock logos available for foil stamped, burnished, embossed, or blind debossed logos. Our complimentary stamps can also be added to your custom logo for stamping. To have a complimentary die added to your cover, please refer to the die number (example: S-4 for Menu). *metal dies, sizing, and font cannot be adjusted*
WHAT COVER STAMPING OPTIONS DO YOU OFFER?
Most Risch casebound covers are custom stamped with a metal die plate. Metal die plates are created from high-resolution digital art files. These plates then stamp the cover material in a variety of techniques; foil stamp, blind-deboss, burnish, and emboss. We also offer laser engraving for our wood products and a monticello window option. To learn more, click the button below.
WHAT ARE YOUR FOIL COLOR OPTIONS?
Although gold, silver, black, and white are the most popular picks, we offer 43 foil options for you to choose from! Please keep in mind that foil colors may vary slightly in hue once stamped due to underlying material color bleed through. Foil color is also contingent upon adhering to cover material. Not all colors are guaranteed to adhere to every material type, which means that some materials are not compatible with every foil type. This is due to the inherent chemical makeup of the cover material and foil.
Please note that colors often vary slightly from digital screen, hue may be different from screen to final cover print.
